My original review: Originally...great. Great look, light very thoughprovoking and love the remote dimming feature. Great fan levels and in our small room cools great. Why the one star?...After a few months the light stopped working. I called Litex and they told me I had to check the remote sensor which is in the housing of the fan 8 feet in the air. I'm physically impaired so this means paying an electrcian $100(Ny)to look at... So I live without. With the light I'd give it 5 stars.
My new review: Pros - as stated above. Cons - (1)if you lose the remote it won't work unless you have it related to a wall switch, and even then all you can do is turn it off and on, no way to adjust speed or dimming. (I haven't lost the remote ...yet. (2) When I called they didn't tell me to check the light bulb which it turned out to be and a friend fixed it. All it cost was I think 10 bucks for the bulb and a hamburger for my friend.
